Psychotherapeutic Counselling Body (PCB) is run by Reinhard Mack and Tina Scheu, responsible for students’ problems in Konstanz (University and HTWG) and Beate Steiner, responsible for Weingarten and Ravensburg-Weingarten (College of Higher Education) and for the BA training at Ravensburg.
If you find yourself in a tough situation or crisis, e.g. because of personal problems, if you suffer from a low self-esteem, anxieties, inhibitions, or any other problem, but also if you encounter study problems and exam nerves, do come to see the PCB for a talk.
After that you can decide for yourself, whether you want to make further use of our counselling services or not. Currently, both individual and group sessions are offered.
Another part of our work is to aid students suffering from a psychatric illness. We closely work togehter with specialists and hospitals.
After having discussed the problem the student may decide upon futher aid or treatment or even undergoing a therapy at a local specialist.
You can be certain that anything you tell us will be kept confidential; all of our staff is bound by professional discretion. There will be no fee.
In order to get into contact with our Counselling Service we have fixed office hours for getting registered, where you either personally or via telephone can arrange an appointment. Of course, you may also get into contact via e-mail.
