Reason for the extension of the contract
This framework agreement is extended until June 30, 2023 in accordance with Section 132 (2) No. 3 GWB (change in circumstances and their unforeseeability for the contracting authority). When the contract was originally awarded in 2017, it was not foreseeable with all due care that in 2020, due to a new type of coronavirus, federal and state curfews would be ordered and public life would come to a virtual standstill - mensas and cafeterias would have to be closed until further notice. Simply extending the contract will not change the overall character. The contract extension will not result in the price being increased by more than 50% of the value of the original contract.A new procurement process will be conducted in due time.
